The International Council of Nurses has identified this year’s theme as “Nurses: A voice to Lead-Achieving the SDGS (Sustainable Development Goals). The aim is to raise awareness both amongst the nursing profession and the general population and policy makers of what the SDGS are and why they matter.  It also gives a chance to contribute at a personal level and recognize the efforts being made every day to achieve these goals.
