Tata Steel Jamshedpur Run-a-thon 2019 Walk-in Registrations Open from October 1, 2019 at JRD Tata Sports Complex

Tata Steel Jamshedpur Run-a-thon 2019 offline walk-in registrations will be open from October 1, 2019. This follows the popular response to the online registration facility, which was made available from mid-September 2019.

Participants can now register in the two following ways:

  1. Walk-in and pick-up registration form at Accounts Section, JRD Tata Sports Complex (0657 6644815, 0657 2431141) and register on-the-spot
  2. Log onto http://www.tatasteeljsr-run.com and register online

The last date to register for the 6th edition of Jamshedpur Run-a-thon is October 21, 2019. For the benefit of the interested participants, registration counters will be open at the Accounts Section, JRD Tata Sports Complex from October 1-21, 2019 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on week days only.

It may please be noted that Registrations will be done on first come first serve basis. Only first 6,500 registrations will be accepted.

The annual event Tata Steel Jamshedpur Run-a-thon is set to be organised on Sunday, November 10, 2019. The 10-Km run will kick-off from the JRD Tata Sports Complex with the first race scheduled at 06:10 hours. This event is open all Indian Nationals.  10 km is the internationally-approved distance for road races by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).

There will be different events for various categories of runners. The 10-Km run is open to all Indian Nationals and will have a registration fee of INR 700/-. Apart from this, there will be a 7-Km run (registration fee INR 500/-) and a 5-Km run for under-16 boys and girls as on November 10, 2019(registration charge INR 250/-).

Sports and physical fitness are ingrained in the philosophy of Tata Steel. The Sports Department consistently organises sporting and running events to provide a healthy work-life balance for Tata Steel employees and believes in promoting fitness among stakeholders in the larger community.
