TATA Main Hospital observes Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
TMH today organised Swachh Bharat Abhiyan with much enthusiasm and active participation of the Nursing students, House Keeping team, Doctors, Administration and Union Committee members. The programme started with a motivational speech by the GM Medical Services, Tata Steel, Air Marshal (Dr)Rajan Chaudhry, AVSM, VSM.(Rtd) . In his speech Dr.Chaudhry emphasised on active involvement and cooperation of all the stake holders including staff, patients and visitors in maintaining the TMH premises clean. He also directed the administration team to come with a plan allocating different zones of the hospital premises among teams of the staff members who will ensure cleanliness in their particular zones on continuous basis.
The Nursing students presented a street play near main gate of the TMH as a part of the awareness activity depicting how in our regular day to day life people casually litter the public areas. The presentation evoked a very good response from the audience.
As a part of the programme the senior doctors and the team cleaned the area near JGMH building of the TMH removing all the debris taking all the precautions in using personal protection devises such as masks, gloves etc.
As part of swachh bharat Abhiyan at TMH will be covering all the extra mural areas of the hospital. The Abhiyan will be a week long activity
