Tata Steel Sports Department is all set to inaugurate Summer Camp 2019 on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur.

Over the years, the Summer Camp has been organizing sporting activities and coaching camps, primarily for the children of Jamshedpur to inculcate the culture of healthy and fit living within them. This year, the Camp will provide more than 3400 children with an opportunity to take part in 19 different sporting disciplines under the guidance of more than 100 acclaimed coaches.

The sessions are set to begin on Monday May 13, 2019 at 6:30 AM at the JRD Tata Sports Complex. One of the unique initiatives taken this year has been to provide the participating kids with caps and backpacks to make it easier for them to carry the required equipment to the camp. The inauguration ceremony will see renowned the magician Mr. Sudhir Majumdar entertain the kids and promote the Department’s belief that fitness is fun.
