Tata Steel's Khondbond Iron and Manganese Mine bags "Grow care India CSR Awards 2018"

Tata Steel's Khondbond Iron & Manganese Mine(KIMM) has been conferred with the "Grow care India CSR Awards 2018" under category of   Gold Award for CSR Excellence, on July 25, 2018 in a function held at The Imperial Hotel, Janpath, New Delhi.

On behalf of Tata Steel, the award was received by Mr A J George, Head, Equipment and Maintenance, KIMM from Dr Muzaffar Ahmad, Former Member, National Disaster Management Authority in the presence Mr Hari Om Pandey, Hon'ble Member of Parliament and Mr PM Chandra Mohan, Director of Factories, Telangana.

KIMM has been proactively working towards the holistic development in its peripheral areas of Khondbond and transforming rural lives since many years by implementing various developmental initiatives as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR). To uplift the socio-economic profile of the peripheral villages, Tata Steel has taken many initiatives under its CSR in the field of health, livelihood, education, drinking water and sanitation, infrastructure and sports promotion.
