Tata Steel’s Pavilion Inaugurated at International Mineral Processing Expo 2012

Tata Steel’s pavilion themed ‘Innovative Processing for Sustainable Growth’ was inaugurated today at the International Mineral Processing Expo 2012 at Hotel The Ashok, New Delhi. The Tata Steel pavilion focusses upon the Mining and Mineral processes and technologies and Research and Development activities that constantly give fillip to the whole manufacturing value chain. The section is also designed to showcase the remarkable initiatives undertaken by the Tata Steel in the field of CSR and environmental protection.

The pavilion was inaugurated today in presence of the Chief Guest, Professor Samir K. Brahmachari, Director General, CSIR and other dignitaries.

The guests at the exhibition appreciated the Tata Steel pavilion and remarked the same to be an excellent representation of the mineral processing work.

The Inaugural function at the XXVI International Mineral Processing Congress 2012 was addressed by Mr. H. M. Nerurkar, MD Tata Steel, President, Indian Institute of Metals (IIM) and Chairman, Steering Committee, IMPC 2012. Dr. Pradip, President, IMPC 2012, Professor R. Venugopal, President, Indian Institute of Mineral Engineers (IIME) and Professor Cyril O’ Connor, Chairman, IMPC Council also spoke on the occasion.

About International Mineral Processing Expo 2012
IMPE 2012 will be an ideal platform for technology transfer, business meets and joint ventures for identifying potential investors to boost industrial production, collaboration and international trade.

It is the most prestigious event in the field of mineral processing in the world today. The congress has been truly international with delegates from all parts of the world deliberating on issues facing the industry over a period of five days.
