Tata Steel bags award at "NDTV Profit Business Leadership Awards 2011"

~Mr Nerurkar, received the coveted award for his business leadership and entrepreneurial excellence, hence contributing significantly towards India’s economy growth~

Tata Steel bagged the award in the ‘Metal Category’ at the seventh edition of the prestigious NDTV Profit Business Leadership Awards held in Mumbai on 7th January, 2012. The award was received by Mr HM Nerurkar, Managing Director, Tata Steel on behalf of the Company from the Hon’ble Finance Minister, Pranab Mukherjee.

The award is a recognition of the various initiatives and innovations taken up by Tata Steel to respond and adapt to the ever changing business scenario.

NDTV Profit presented the seventh edition of NDTV Profit Business Leadership Awards instituted to award organisational excellence. It recognizes and honours the most resilient and the strongest business leaders of this year. These awards not only honour business organizations that have shown exceptional ability in business performance but are also a recognition of the business houses which have fuelled the Indian economy to currently being among the fastest growing economies in the world.
