Tata Steel Sports Department organised Prize Distribution ceremony for Summer Camp

Jamshedpur, May 29, 2019

Tata Steel Sports Department today organised Prize Distribution ceremony for ongoing Summer Camp participants at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.

Winners of various categories of sporting disciplines like roller skating, karate, volley ball, archery were awarded today. The event saw presence of Mr. Parvinder Bhatia, Bureau Chief of The Pioneer newspaper as Chief Guest. Total 47 gold, same number of silver and 41 bronze medals were awarded to the participants of various junior and senior groups.

On May 28, winning participants of various other sporting events like golf, football, badminton, kabaddi, table tennis and yoga were awarded with medals during a similar function. Altogether 76 gold medals, 76 silver medals and 13 bronze medals were given away to the participants. Ms. Anni Amrita, Bureau Chief NEWS 18 (Bihar-Jharkhand) at Jamshedpur participated as Chief Guest on Tuesday and handed over the awards.

Present on the occasion were Head, Sports, Tata Steel Mr. Ashish Kumar, senior official and Arjuna Awardee Bagicha Singh, coaches and trainers of various sporting disciplines, participants as well as parents.
