Tata Steel Chess Training Centre Trainees won six medals in Chess Tourney

Jamshedpur, January 29, 2019

Tata Steel Chess Training Centre trainees won two gold, three silver and one bronze medal during the Open Jharkhand State Chess Tournament held at Jamshedpur on January 26-27, 2019.

Trainees Navieka Jaiswal and Adhiraj Mitra won Gold Medals in Under-8 Girls and Boys category respectively while Debangshu Halder won Silver medal in the same category.

Besides, Pratyush Jaiswal and Dyuti Chakraborty won Silver medals in Under-12 Boys and Girls category respectively. Avantika Singh won Bronze medal in Under-10 Girls category.

Tata Steel Sports Department has congratulated the winners along with the coaches Jayant Kumar Bhuyan and Shaukin Kundu.
