Tata Steel Chess Cadets Shine at All India Meet

Jamshedpur, June 14, 2019

Two cadets of Tata Steel Sports Department’s Chess Training Centre won two silver medals during the All India FIDE rating Chess tournament held at Cuttack between June 8-10.

While Ms. Navieka Jaiswal bagged the Silver Medal in Under-7 Girls category, Adhiraj Mitra won the Silver Medal in Under-7 Boys category

The duo were trained by Chess Training Centre Coaches Jayant Kumar Bhuyan and Shoukin Kundu.

Tata Steel Sports Department lauds the achievement by the two youngsters and wishes them more success in future tournaments, while also applauding the dedicated effort of the coaches who have guided the winners.
