Tata Steel is all set to celebrate the 180th Birth Anniversary of it's Founder Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata. The list of activities related to Founder's Day 2019 is given below:

Technical Exhibition at SNTI: 4:00 PM
Tata Steel's Capability Development Division is organising its 11th Technical Exhibition from March 2 – 5, 2019. Keeping in line with the theme of ‘Technovation at work' with a tag line of ‘Brighter tomorrow starts today', the young trainees at SNTI and NTTF, employees of Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Tata Power, Tata Sponge, Tinplate, Tata Metaliks, Jamipol, TML, TRF and students of BIT- Sindri have made a concerted effort towards developing innovative models based on the principles of science and engineering.
Mr Emmanuel David, Director, Tata Management Training Centre will grace the occasion by his presence as Chief Guest and inaugurate the event on March 2, 2019 at 4:00 PM .
A vibrant educational atmosphere will be on display in various stalls depicting the technical prowess of the young talents of the organisation. A total of 64 creative ideas with working models having a potential of wide application in various manufacturing industries across the country will be on display.
The Event is expected to attract a wide participation of visitors from all walks of life, including senior students from schools, colleges including Engineering Colleges and different organisations in an around Jamshedpur.
Inauguration of Illumination at Jubilee Park: 6:30 PM
The Illumination at the Founder's Statue in Jubilee Park and lighting of the Park will be done on March 2, 2019 at 6:30 PM. It will be open for public viewing from March 3rd to March 5th 2019 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Simultaneous illumination of Bhetiya Park, Kadma, Nildih Park, Nildih and Sir Dorabji Tata Park along with Jubilee Park for wider access to everyone in the city.

Celebrating 100 Years of Jamshedpur: Exhibition at Jubilee Park March 2-5, 2019
The Founder's Day Exhibition at Jubilee Park will showcase the Founder's Vision on which the city has evolved over the last 100 years. It is inspired by the infinite avenues that Tata Steel has created to enrich people's lives. The exhibition will project different avenues of the 100-year journey in different facets of education, healthcare, sports, culture, connectivity, public conveniences and utilities, all driven by an ambition to become a Smart City.

For people visiting Jubilee Park, following parking areas has been earmarked for the convenience of the visitors'-- In front of Sacred Heart School
- In front of Sir Dorabji Tata Park
- Near Mohan Ahuja Stadium
- In front of Rabindra Bhawan, Sakchi
- Timings of vehicular movement inside Jubilee Park and at all Drop Gates
- Vehicular movement will be restricted from 6.00 pm to 10.00 pm from March 3-5, 2019.
- Vehicular movement inside Jubilee Park will be allowed from 10.00 pm till 11.00 pm on March 3-5, 2019 only. Local Administration can change the timings depending upon the visitors footfall on the above dates.

Founder's Day Celebration at Works Main Gate: 7:00 AM
Founder's Day processions by various Departments to pay Homage at the Founder's Statue at the Works Main Gate. Floats and Audio Visual displays would be part of the contingents.
Founders Day Pageantry in Town: 10:00 AM
With the support of the citizens of Jamshedpur and the Local Administration, a spectacular pageantry will be organized in front of the Founder's Statue near Main Post Office, Bistupur, at 9:45 am. The pageantry will include tableaus from Associate Companies, Social Organisations, Jamshedpur Armed Force (JAP) and Rapid Action Force (RAF). Approximately 2000 participants will take part in the pageantry.
Laser Show and Musical Fountain Show: This year also there will be Special Laser Shows and Musical Fountain on 100 Years of Jamshedpur on March 3-5, 2019 with usual charges as applicable. Show timings (4 shows) are as follows - 1st Show – 6.30 pm, 2nd Show – 6:45 pm, 3rd Show – 7:00 pm and 4th Show – 7:45 pm

Barricades – Following traffic points will be temporarily barricaded with drop gates on March 3, 2019 from 8.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. during the citizens' pageantry in Bistupur.

Founder's Day Sports: 1:00PM
Founder's Day Sports will be held at the Gopal Maidan at 1:00 PM. This will be conducted by Sports Dept. of Tata Steel. The categories include events for Men, Women, Boys and Girls as well as for Guests.
Exhibition of Floats near Sir Dorabji Tata Park: All the floats participating at the Postal Park will be kept for public display near Sir Dorabji Tata Park on March 3 – 4, 2019. We invite citizens to come to the exhibition and enjoy the beautiful floats.
