Tata Steel West Bokaro Division organizes Mega Health Camp at Sondhia

West Bokaro, October 31, 2018

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Tata Steel West Bokaro Division organized a one-day free Mega Health Camp today at Jai Hindi Vidya Niketan, Sondhia under Mandu block of Ramgarh district.

Mr B V Sudhir Kumar, Chief, Coal Beneficiation, Tata Steel (West Bokaro) inaugurated the health camp in the presence of Mr Naveen Kumar, Head, O/B Logistics, Tata Steel (West Bokaro), Mr Gyani Mahto, Ex-Mukhia, Bargaon, Mr Chhatradhari Saw, Opinion Leader, Chainpur, Mr Radheshyam Mahto, Mukhia, Sondhia, Mr Sundarlal Bhuiya, Mukhia, Sarubera, Mr Dwarka Mahto, Ex-Mukhiya, Sondhia and Mr Surendranath Mahto, Administrator, Jai Hindi Vidya Niketan, Sondhia.

678 patients from Sondhia and surrounding villages availed health services at a day-long Mega Health Camp. In the camp, consultation by specialist doctors from Medicine, ENT, Dental, Gynecology, and Physiotherapy disciplines were provided to the patients along with free medicines. Apart from this, on-the-spot pathological investigations were also undertaken for proper diagnosis.

7 specialist doctors from Tata Central Hospital, West Bokaro and Tata Steel Rural Development Soiciety volunteered their services for the camp.
