Dr Atul Prakash, appointed as HOD Joint Replacement and Orthopedics

Dr Atul Prakash, Senior Consultant and HOD Joint Replacement is appointed as HOD Joint Replacement and Orthopedics, Tata Main Hospital w.e.f September 8, 2018. The appointment is consequent to retirement of Dr Santosh Rawat, the current HOD of Orthopedics who is superannuating from Tata Main Hospital after 27 years of meritorious service.

Dr Atul Prakash, joined Tata Steel Ltd on December 1, 2016 in the department of Joint Replacement and Reconstructive Surgery, Tata Main Hospital as Senior Consultant and HOD, Joint Replacement and Reconstructive Surgery. He has MS Orthopedics degree from Delhi University and has also done FRCS Glasg from Royal College of physicians and Surgeons, UK. He has more than 20 years of experience in Orthopedics and Joint Replacement, including 13 years of experience in UK.
