Tata Steel crossed several milestones in the year (99-2K). It has excelled in the areas of capacity utilisation, production and market leadership despite the downturn in the worldwide steel industry. The Prime Minister’s Trophy for the Best Integrated Steel Plant, for the second time, JRD QV Award for Business Excellence, CII – EXIM Award, Indian Institute Award for Corporate Excellence, British Safety Council Award and FICCI Award for Family Welfare – to name a few of the awards conferred in the recent past, underline the overwhelming success achieved by Tata Steel in all its key business processes.
