Healthcare in Jamshedpur has been developed around the philosophy of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata who had envisioned health and welfare for all its stakeholders. The city is home to one of the largest private sector 1000 bedded hospital in Eastern India. The 110 year old Tata Main Hospital has been providing compassionate and quality health care to the citizens in and around Jamshedpur.
The Tata Main Hospital was established in 1908, around the time the steel plant was being set-up. Since then it has developed into a state-of-the-art hospital.
Over the years, along with TMH, the Trust run hospitals have been delivering speciality Cancer Care, Eye Care, Dialysis Services, Ayurveda and other super-speciality services.
