Will to Win Issue Twenty-Four is the first issue of the year 2002. Happy New Year to all the Readers. It is difficult to say Happy New Year from the core of the heart for reasons, which are well known. The year that has just gone by has been truly traumatic. While Tata Steel has been grapling with the problem of a ields to contend with market reality, India and the world at large had to masevere decline in steel consumption and adopting innovations in many fny much larger issues - the attack on the Kashmir Legislature, the demolition of the Twin Tower, and the attempt on Indian Parliament. All these tragedies occured towards the end of 2001. Not a very ending by any stretch of imagination. Yet we have come out of it all. Life goes on. Such is the resilience of human society. Problems come and problems go, but life goes on forever. Tweedle-dee-tweelde-dum. To bring bring some cher in this difficult environment, we thought we should begin the publication of Will to Win in 2002 with "happiness and joy" on our minds. Hence, the "comic" format in this Issue. Child-like illustrations; but, the contents of the Issue Twenty-Four are as serious and ever important as ever. Kudos to the individuals and the teams for their effots. We wish all innovatiors have continued success in 2002. 2003 will then really be a Happy New Year. Let us Hope Will to Win certainly would be happy since in April 2002, we will complete our Silver Jubilee - 25th issue. |
