Modern day cleaning lines are not simple brushing, cleaning and
rinsing sections alone.The need for greater throughput and predictive cleanliness models
have led to design and development of feature loaded lines. The cleaning process and its
operating levers, including bath maintenance, are discussed in detail. The electrolytic
section of ECL its features, operating conditions, process parameters and main converter
are the focus of this paper. Since the line is under commissioning, the cleanliness model
trials with this converter section have not been carried out, but the basis has been
discussed.
