Jamshedpur
there’s no place quite like it!

In the two years since it began operations, Jamshedpur Utilities & Services Company Limited (JUSCO) has continuously focussed on augmenting the infrastructure of Jamshedpur to ensure that the city achieves the world’s foremost standards for quality of life. Though the quality of potable water, power availability and public health norms match all international standards, Jamshedpur has now set itself a pace that certainly none of the urban centres in India are likely to match. In the last few months alone a beautiful employee housing complex with landscaped terraced greens and an international standard Badminton Court were created. During the same period, drinking water, of a quality which far exceeds WHO norms, was extended to residents of Laxminagar, Premnagar, Bajranginagar and Jhagru Bagan, all of which lie beyond the Jamshedpur Notified Area expected to be served by Tata Steel.

Green Enclave

Five blocks of flats in a newly constructed housing complex, “Green Enclave” at Kadma were inaugurated by the Managing Director, Mr B Muthuraman on May 9, 2006. Spread across 12 acres, the housing complex is designed to include 252 flats with 18 apartment blocks. The first five blocks, with 70 flats of 1225 feet each have been handed over to the Company’s Estate Department for allotment.

At par with the best housing complexes in the country, Green Enclave will have a playground, a football ground, badminton court, club house as well as a state-of-the-art Rain Water Harvesting system. Only 20% of the entire area of the complex will be covered by four-storey buildings meant for housing.
