With every facet of design turning art into utilitarian forms, construction is turning to minimalism, with wide expanses of uncluttered space. Tata Steel has recently launched a “new age construction material” - Tata Structura - to fulfill the need of designers for a contemporary construction product.

These closed structurals enable architects, structural engineers, builders and large construction houses, to use light weight cold formed tube structurals - round, square and rectangular hollow structures - instead of the conventional channels and beams.

Tata Structura is a superior construction material created out of Tata Steel’s expertise in high performance steel by the Company’s Tubes Division. The product offers engineers and designers the opportunity to use this new age material to execute their imaginative designs with ease, at a cost more economic than conventional products.

Tata Structura was launched on December 15, at the AEC (Architects, Engineers and Construction) World Expo & Conference held at Mumbai. The Expo provided the visibility Tata Steel had hoped to give the brand as over 40,000 leading architects, structural engineers, builders, developers and other members of the target audience had come together to participate in it.
