Smoothening the road to retirement-----------------------------

People have always been Tata Steel's greatest asset. It believes that its family extends beyond current employees and their families to ex-employees and their families as well.

The company has decided to make the transition from active service to retirement smoother for its employees by conducting a special programme to familiarise them with the settlement process, obtaining clearances and investment opportunities. The Chiefs and Heads of the HRI and Accounts departments addressed the participants during the first such programme. This initiative has been greatly appreciated by the retiring officers.
