Tata Steel's Coated Sheet offers the following advantages

  • Good Corrosion Resistance:
    Galvanising protects steel against corrosion by means of a barrier and a sacrificial(cathodic protection)effect,so that protection continues even in the event of coating damage or when the edges are bared.
  • Excellent Paintability:
    The zinc-alloy surface of moderate roughness increases paintability properties.Galvannealed/Galvanised sheet is most suitable for painted applications.
  • Easy Weldability:
    As the coating layers are made of zinc-alloy,Tata Steel's Coated Sheet is easier to weld than ordinary Galvanised Sheet.
