Capability Development department, Tata Steel organised its 11th Technical Exhibition ‘Tech-Ex 2019’ from March 2 – 5, 2019 which concluded today at SNTI. The exhibition attracted young minds and citizens from all walks of life.
                                                      
Keeping in line with the theme of ‘Technovation at work’ with a tag line of ‘Brighter tomorrow starts today’, the trainees exhibited various innovative projects of scientific & engineering marvel. A total of 65 projects were on display which offered myriad of solutions from critical industrial problems, farming, city management to safety and mankind. Out of these 65 projects the models catering to Digitization-Internet of Things (IoT) were Gas safety by IoT enabled drone, Automobile safety SOS, IoT based smart city management, Drone painting, IoT based home automation and IoT based pipe painting robot. The projects catering to mankind were Smart Blind Stick, Smart car, Flex Chair, human health monitoring system, multi crop harvester, accident alarm system, and wheelchair convertible to crutches.

During the exhibition, many theme-based events were also organised such as Sketching, Photography, Quiz and Treasure-hunt.  Prizes and certificates were given away to all the participants and winners of various theme-based events.
