The best defense against fraudulent Job offers is you.

Please note that Tata Steel has deployed a merit-based employee selection practice. We do not charge / accept any amount or security deposit from job seekers during the selection process or while inviting candidates for an interview.
 
Some fraudsters are using the name of Tata Steel and its employees to solicit job applications and require the job seekers / applicants to pay processing fees or deposit amounts, by sending false e-mails or by making fraudulent telephone calls. We request you to not respond to these calls / emails.
 
Please also do not share original / scan / photocopies of your Identity proof documents, residential proof documents and educational certificates with these fraudsters, since there is a possibility of misuse of such documents by them.

We shall not accept any liability towards the representation made in any fraudulent communication or its consequences, and such fraudulent communication shall not be treated as any kind of offer or representation by Tata Steel.

Beware of fraudsters spoofing tatasteel domain id to send fraudulent emails/offers.

Tata Steel DOES NOT:

  1. Ask you to deposit any money for giving job offers to any candidates, be it Experienced Professionals or Fresh Graduate Trainees or Management Trainees.
  2. Post any opening for either Freshers or Lateral hires on Quickr Jobs/Shine/Wisdom Jobs and the like.

Tata Steel only posts relevant openings on Naukri.com and/or LinkedIn for hiring experienced professionals. Considering the feasibility of receiving spoofed mails, candidates are requested to take due care to validate the authenticity of the source of the email.

Please note that any offers / benefits / content / instructions presented in such misleading communication impersonating Tata Steel, do not represent those of the company and are contrary to our company policy. If any such entity fraudulently representing Tata Steel approaches you, refrain from responding to them. Tata Steel will not accept any liability for the actions of candidates on spoofed mails / communication.

Is your Offer Letter genuine?

Kindly write an email requesting the validation of a provisional offer letter, interview letter, employment application form, medical form etc. to brand.protection@tatasteel.com with the scanned copy of the document attached.

Before acting on requests to deposit money in any form or any other unfair practices, request you to confirm the content of the email by validating your offer letter or any communication received.
