Mr Partha Sengupta, VP (Corporate Services), Tata Steel has been appointed as the Chairman of TM International Logistics Limited (TMILL) with effect from February 6, 2010.

Mr. Partha Sengupta, Vice President (Corporate Services), Tata Steel joined the company as a Graduate Trainee in 1980. A metallurgist from IT, BHU, Mr. Sengupta has had the experience of contributing to diverse departments of Tata Steel since he joined the Company. During his 28 year long illustrious career, he has been associated with several departments as R&D, Marketing, Customer Service and Wire Division before taking over as Principal Executive Officer of Tata Steel in 2002. In 2007, Mr Sengupta was appointed as Vice President (Corporate Services), Tata Steel. He is a Director of the JUSCO Board and Tata Pigments Limited. He has also been appointed as Chairman of CII – Jharkhand Council in 2008.

TM International Logistics Limited is currently involved in running port operations activity at Ports of Haldia and Paradip at east coast of India backed by fully dedicated custom clearance and ship agency services at both ports, which ensures efficient and speedy turnaround of ships and goods of its esteemed customers. The company runs a clean dry cargo terminal at berth # 12 at Haldia which is equipped with modern handling facilities including heavy equipments, shore cranes, vast large open storage area as well as covered warehousing facility.
