JSA organises Annual Day Programme

Jamshedpur School of Art organises its Annual Day Programme

Jamshedpur School of Art today organised its Annual Day Programme. Mr Anand Sen, President, TQM & Steel Business Tata Steel graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Cultural programmes were organised by the students of JSA which included Kathak Tarana classical; Fusion contemporary; Story telling by one of the JSA students; Elocution on women empowerment; Instrumental (Guitar and Keyboard); Bollywood & mixed dance; Old & New era (Black & White and colour) dance.

Token of gifts to teachers of JSA was presented by Mrs Shrimanti Sen. The teachers included:

About JSA

Jamshedpur School of Art is an oldest institution in Jamshedpur supported by TATA STEEL, was established in 1946.

Late.B.R.Kagal, the then Chief Town Administrator of Tisco founded the Jamshedpur School of Art with an aim to promote art activities in steel city.Late. Manoj Sengupta a gold.medalist from The Govt. College of Art, Kolkata was given the responsibility of its development who gave the shape and substance of the school. He was the first Principal of the school.
