Cadets from Tata Steel Sports Training Centres excel in tournaments
Cadets from the Tata Steel Sports Training Centres performed well in different tournaments held recently. The sporting disciplines included Archery, Swimming, Basketball and Golf.
At the CBSE Zonal Archery Tournament held on September 28 – 30, 2019 at Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, the performancesof cadets from ISWP Archery Training Centre were as follows:

In the swimming discipline, Mr. Utkarsh Singh, trainee of the Tata Steel Swimming Training Centre, won 4 gold medals in the CBSE Zonal Swimming Championship held at D A V Public School Bariyatu Ranchi on September 29, 2019. He was trained by Swimming Training Centre coach Mr P N Rai.
With regard to Basketball, Mr. Jaskirath Singh and Mr. Ronit Dokaniya of ISWP Basketball Training Centre, had represented Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya in the 3rd CBSE Cluster Basketball Tournament held at Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya from September 29 – October 2, 2019 and won the Championship in the U-19 Category.
They were trained by Archery coach Mr Ravi Prasad.
Finally, at the Milky Moo Jharkhand Challenge Indian Golf Union (IGU) Golf Tournament held on October 1-2, 2019 at the Golmuri Golf Course, the performance of the Tata Steel Golf Training Centre cadets was as follows :

Veer Parikh: Category E: Winner
Archit Ranjan Singh: Category E : Runners-up
Rakshit Ranjan Singh: Category D: Runners-up
The cadets were coached by Golf Coach Md. Kalam.
