Tata Football Academy celebrates Asian Football Confederation Grassroots Day
Tata Football Academy (TFA) today celebrated Asian Football Confederation (AFC) ‘Grassroots Day’. More than 100 children from the Sports Summer Camp 2017 and 30 special children participated in the event.
The AFC Grassroots Day is being celebrated as per the guidelines of All India Football Federation (AIFF) where all the affiliated clubs and academies participate and organize this event in their region. Grassroots Day is being celebrated across Asia today. The event is promoted with the intention to engage young children for the development of the sport.
During the event a Coach Education Session was organised. Around 30 coaches from different feeder centers of the Tata Steel Rural Development Society (TSRDS) and TFA participated.

- Summer Camp and Special Children Grassroots festival – 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at TFA Ground
