Tata Steel organizes closing ceremony of Sports Summer Camp 2016
Tata Steel today organized the closing ceremony of ‘Sports Summer Camp 2016’ at JRD Tata Sports Complex. Mrs Jolly Bhaskaran graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Mrs. Jolly Bhaskaran praised the Sports Department and requested all the parents to keep on encouraging their children to participate in sports activities which will expose their talent and keep them healthy and fit. Mrs Bhaskaran also distributed mementos to the youngest of all 21sporting activities of the camp.
The programme started with a short report about the various activities of the camp by Mr Mukul Choudhari, Administrator, TFA & Sports. This was followed by a feedback session by some of the parents present on the occasion.
The evening also saw some cultural performances like magic show, dance performances by basketball, karate, archery and ISWP groups. All the summer trainees and guests also enjoyed Zumba with the trainer Mr Jeet Bnerjee.
The camp was scheduled from May 10-30, 2016. It included sporting activities like Archery,Athletic, Badminton, Boxing, Basketball, Chess, Cricket, Football, Golf, Handball, Hockey, Karate,Kabaddi, Roller Skating, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball, Weight Lifting, Yoga and Zumba.
Mr. Farzan Heerjee, Chief (GR & Sports), Tata Steel gave vote of thanks. He thanked the coaches,parents, media, and employees of Sports Department for making the camp a huge success.
