Tata Steel’s Tribal Cultural Society will be organising the 4th edition of ‘Samvaad – A Tribal Conclave’ from 15th - 19th of November 2017, in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.
Samvaad (in collaboration with School of Media and Cultural Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai) serves as a platform for tribal communities from across India to meet and discuss issues of concern. During the pan-India conclave, documentary films on tribal issues are also screened for the communities.
After the great success of Samvaad 2016, we invite young film-makers interested in telling stories of tribes to participate in the Samvaad National Short Film Festival.

Top 3 films, selected by the jury, would be:
- Screened for tribal communities in Jharkhand and Odisha with respective film –makers
- Invited to be part of Samvaad 2017 and awarded with Samvaad Memento, Certificate and Prize
