1,32,376 houses were searched for domestic breeding. Breeding detected in 13,546 houses and appropriate measures to control mosquito nuisance was adopted. Fogging operation was intensified to cover all areas of Town at weekly frequency.

A total number of 7743 cases were treated at Veterinary Hospital.

• 4 Nos. of Health Exhibitions were organized during the year
• 656 nos. of immunization-cum-environment awareness camps were organized in Bustees and peripheral areas of Jamshedpur.
• Health awareness-cum-immunization camps were organized at Saldi Bustee, Adityapur, Kapali Bustee, Mango, in addition to house-to-house health education.

WATER MANAGEMENT

• Strategic consultancy tie up with M/s. Veolia Water on Water Management System.
• Project on 100% recycling of wastewater implemented at Water Works (indigenous design), achieving an environment friendly water management system.
• Rendered local advice to PHED team of Mango & Adityapur for water supply, on request of District Administration.
• Reduced Energy consumption by 25KW per million gallons of treated water. Saved 7 lakhs units of power at Water Works.
• 4 Deep boring and 4 hand pumps installed in Bagan area.
• Converting Bhuiyandih Sewage Pumping Station into an environment friendly workplace with local community involvement.
