A moment of celebration for an outstanding year

The last financial year was an outstanding one for Tata Steel. The company surpassed every previous record and established new highs across all fronts. The company achieved a Hot Metal production of 4.47 million tonnes, a Crude Steel production of 4.22 million tonnes and Saleable Steel record of 4.09 million tonnes.

Of the 4.09 million tonnes produced, Flat products accounted for 2.76 million tonnes and Long Products for 1.21 million tonnes. The company exported 1.22 million tonnes.

The sales of the company’s branded products has shown remarkable growth with flat products taking a huge 190% jump in growth. Tiscon, a well known rebar from the Tata Steel stable also registered its highest sales. The company is now a preferred supplier for major auto and white goods manufacturers across the country.
