Celebrates One Million Tonne Landmark
Tata Shaktee, the flagship brand of Tata Steel, crossed the One Million tonne landmark sales in April 2007 since its launch. Dr T Mukherjee, Dy Managing Director - Steel, unveiled a memento especially designed to commemorate this landmark event. Mr Anand Sen, Vice President, Flat Products released the book titled “Exploring New Horizon” during this occasion. The book portrays all important initiatives and events in the journey of the brand since it was launched in Feb 2007.
Tata Shaktee Galvanised Corrugated (GC) sheet was launched at a time when the steel roofing business in the country was highly unorganized and was conducted in an environment of mistrust. At this very time, Tata Steel recognized the opportunity to create value for the consumers by revolutionizing the way steel roofing business was conducted in India - this led to birth of the brand Tata Shaktee.
Since its
launch, the brand has never looked back. The
