ASPIRE is the vehicle for improvements in Tata Steel. The program encompasses improvement initiatives like DMAIC based improvement projects, TPM / Small Group Activities and Suggestion Management.

Knowledge Management is also an integral part of ASPIRE. While it is not itself an improvement tool, it provides essential inputs for proper execution of ASPIRE tools.

'The ASPIRE Unlimited' (VIABLE VISION) program is the latest challenge undertaken by ASPIRE. Launched on 1st of June, 2005 this program is based on the principles of Theory of Constraints (TOC) propounded by Dr Eliyahu Goldratt.
