Mr. B Muthuraman, Managing  Director, Tata Steel, has been conferred the prestigious Tata Gold Medal by the Indian Institute of Metals.

The medal will be presented to Mr. Muthuraman at the inaugural function of the  56th Annual Technical Meeting of the Institute scheduled to be held on 14th November 2002 at Vadodara.
