Morad Ali Khan wins Gold medal for India at Common Wealth Games-2002-Manchester

Tata Steel's Morad  Ali  Khan and Major Rathore won India a Gold Medal in Double Trap Shooting competition at Common Wealth Games 2002 being hosted in Manchester.

Morad  Ali Khan's individual score was 93 out 100 and that of Major Rathore was 91out of 100.Together they were placed 1st with 184 out of 200.The Double Trap Shooting event is being held for the first time at the Common Wealth Games.

Australia  came  in second place. Both the players of  Australia are Olympic Silver Medalist and Current World Champion in Double Trap Shooting.

England came in  for third place. The English pair boasts of the current Gold Medalists.
