Noamundi Iron Mine has been bestowed with the 6th Annual Greentech Safety Gold Award 2006 in miming and metal sector. The award was presented on 22nd February 2007 at Bombay Exhibition Centre by Mr. Tony Smith, Executive Director, National Safety Council, USA. On behalf of the company Mr. Sachindra Mahato, President, Noamundi Mazdoor Union and Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Sr. Manager (Safety) received the award.
