Jamshedpur, November 25, 2004 Mr Naveen Pattnaik, The Honourable Chief
Minister of Orissa has inaugurated a community hall-cum-library at Kujung near Paradip in
Jagatsinghpur district today constructed by Tata Relief Committee (TRC).
Among those battling nature's wrath, Tata Relief Committee (TRC) has always targeted
the most in need, even among the needy. TRC has successfully accomplished its mission
winning appreciation for its services for the cyclone ravaged east coast of Orissa and
Andhra Pradesh, rehabilitation programme for super cyclone victims of Orissa and for the
rehabilitation of Orissa flood victims, the earthquake ravaged regions of Uttarkashi,
Latur, Jabalpur and Kutch-Gujurat, and the hail storm victims of Jharkhand State.
While speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of the community hall-cum-library,
the Chief Guest, Mr Naveen Pattnaik lauded Tata Steel's effort to help the distressed at
the time of need. He also urged upon the people to use this property suitably.
Amongst others present during this function ware Dr Damodar Rout, Honourable Minister
of Panchyati Raj and Culture; Mr Dhananjay Kumar Das, Collector, Jagatsinghpur district; ,
Mr Laxman Sahoo, Superintendent of Police, Jagatsinghpur; Mr Sanjay Pattnaik, Chief
Resident Executive, Bhubaneswar; Mr Kanwal Midha, Honourary Secretary Tata Relief
Committee and General Manager Jamshedpur Utilities and Services Company Limited; along
with several senior citizens of the area.
