Tata Steel successfully completed a selection test for its Trade Apprentices scheme on Sunday. February 29, 2004.

Conducted amidst tight security to prevent impersonation and unfair practices, the test was held at 16 centres, 12 of which were in  Jamshedpur and the remaining four in its outlocations of West Bokaro, Noamundi and Sukinda. A total of 7669 applicants appeared in the test.

Successful candidates will be called in due course for a final round of interviews. After their selection the candidates will undergo rigorous training and based on their potential will be placed in any of the company’s outlocations.
