Jamshedpur, October 1, 2003:

Tata Steel has been adjudged as the Best Establishment in the Eastern Region at the 16th CII Workskills India Regional Competition held from 9th to 12th September, 2003 at ATI Dasnagar, Howrah. This is based on the outstanding performance of our trainees who competed with a number of organizations of Eastern India in various trades.

This honour has been achieved on account of the boys winning 12 of the possible 18 first prizes, (details given in the attachment). Further, out of the total 62 possible prizes Tata Steel has bagged 30 of them (48%). This is a stupendous performance.
