Tata Steel’s Ferro Alloys and Minerals Division has bagged the prestigious CAPEXIL
Special Award in recognition of its outstanding export of Chrome Concentrate from Sukinda
Mines.
The Award was presented by Mr. P Chidambaram, Hon’ble Union Finance Minister at
the Export Award Presentation Function held Chennai on October 8, 2005. Mr. Gautam Kumar,
Chief Sales, Ferro Alloys and Minerals accepted the award on behalf of the Division.
CAPEXIL was set up in 1958 by the Ministry of Commerce to facilitate export of chemical
based and allied products. Over the years the award has emerged as a coveted symbol of
export excellence. |
