Tata Steel has won the coveted "Handa Golden Trophy and Golden Key" for the year 2002. This trophy is awarded to an organization for excelling in fruitfully deploying the Value Engineering techniques and for encouraging the dissemination of value engineering methodology at all levels within the organization. The trophy will be presented to our company in the XVIII National Conference of Indian Value Engineering Society (INVEST) to be held at Hotel Atithi, Mumbai on 23rd November 2002. Tats Steel has earlier won this trophy in the year 1994.
