The   Value  Engineering  Project  on   "Increasing  the   reliability  of the transfer  car   at LD#2 and Slab Caster" led by Mr Avneesh Gupta, Head (IEM) LD#2  and   Slab  Caster,  has   been  adjudged as the best Value Engineering effort  and  won the coveted Mohta National Award for the year 2002. The VE team  will  be   recognised during the inauguration of XVIII INVEST National Conference  to   be  held  at  Hotel   Atithi, Mumbai on 23rd November 2002.A scroll  with a cash award of Rs 1500/- will be given to the team leader and merit   certificates  to  the team members. The other members of the VE team are   Mr  Goutom Das, Mr Rajesh Kumar, Mr A Dasgupta, Mr Satyajit Das and Mr Prabir Ghosh.
