Ms. Malabika Chatterjee of Tata Steel receiving the award for AIMA Best Young Manager - 2003 from Union Minister for Human Resources, Govt. of India, Mr. Murali Manohar Joshi.

Mr. Murli Manohar Joshi, Honorable Union Minister for Human Resources, Government of India presented the Saraogi Samarpan Foundation Award at the National Convention of AIMA held at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi on 17th September 2003 to Ms Malabika Chatterjee of Customer Service Department, who was adjudged as the "AIMA Best Young Manager ? 2003".

In the team category, Tata Steel's team was awarded the Smithkline Beecham Trophy, for the 1st runners up position amongst the 120 teams that competed. The team consisted of Ms Malabika Chatterjee, Ms. Anupama Priyadarshini from Strategy & Planning and Mr. Rajesh Dayal from Long Products.
