Subhasish Roy Chowdhury signs for Jamshedpur Football Club
Jamshedpur FC is delighted to announce the signing of Indian goalkeeper Subhasish Roy Chowdhury on a one-year deal. Born in Kolkata Subhasish has a pedigree of representing top tier clubs in Indian football.
An, ex-Tata Football Academy cadet, he has represented clubs such as East Bengal, Mahindra United, Dempo in the I-League. He also represented ATK, FC Goa, Delhi Dynamos and Kerala Blasters in the Hero Indian Super League. His last season with Kerala Blasters saw him play seven matches.
On signing with Jamshedpur FC, Subhasish commented, “Jamshedpur is my second home. Its nostalgic being back, I have great memories with TFA. I am overwhelmed and honoured to be given the opportunity to play with Jamsedpur FC and look forward to successful season. I will definitely give my 100% for the team.”
