Tata Steel organises Environment Painting & Debate Competitions
The Environment Management and Sports Divisions of Tata Steel today organised a Painting & Debate Competition based on the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) theme “Fight against the Illegal Trade in Wild Life.’. The event was organised at JRD Tata Sports Complex. Mr Suresh Paswan, Regional Officer, Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board (JSPCB) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Nearly 100 children participated in different categories of the competitions. The competitions were evaluated by a panel of judges namely Mr Rajesh Bajpai & Mr Jaspal Singh from Jamshedpur School of Arts and Ms Shuvra & Mr Jainandan from Corporate Communication Department, Tata Steel
Mr BP Goswami of JSPCB, Mr SK Pati, Chief, Environment Management, Tata Steel and other officers from Tata Steel were also present at the event
Winners of the painting & debate competition will be rewarded on World Environment Day - June 5, 2016.
