Tata Steel organises convocation ceremonies for Women Empowerment programmes
Tata Steel organized convocation ceremonies for various programmes under its women empowerment initiatives such as sewing, embroidery, beautician & Mehandi Ranchna. The ceremonies were organized on May 6, 2016 & May 10, 2016 at R D Bhatta & Sonari Community Centre respectively. Nearly 120 women were present at both the functions. Mr Sharat Chandra Kumar, Chief Engineering & Projects, Tata Steel and Capt. Harpreet Kaur Bains, Pilot, Aviation Services graced the occasion as Chief Guest at R D Bhatta and Sonari Community Centres respectively.
During the ceremony at RD Bhatta community centre Mr Kumar said that all the participants are very lucky to have undergone such training provided by the Urban Services Department of Tata Steel through its various community centres. He further appreciated the effort being taken by Urban Services for the rural and bustee people.
