Tata Main Hospital organizes an event 'Walk for Life'
Department of Psychiatry, Tata Main Hospital (TMH) today organized a series of events as a prelude to World Suicide Prevention Day. The first event was ‘Walk for Life’, a walk to create awareness about suicide prevention. It was flagged off by Mrs Ruchi Narendran. The event was attended by school students, teachers, hospital staff and senior doctors of TMH.
This was followed by a group discussion at TMH Auditorium. The theme for the discussion was “Bullying”. Mrs Ruchi Narendran was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Nearly 28 participants attended the discussion. The judges for the event were Mrs Ruchi Narendran and Dr Ashok Sunder (Senior Consultant, Medicine, TMH).
Other events like Essay, Short film and Poster Competition were also conducted earlier at the school level. The results for these events will be announced on 10th of September, 2016 in an event to be held at Tata Main hospital on the day of “World Suicide Prevention Day”.
