More than 22,000 fans on Facebook and numerous followers on Twitter later, 'Valueabled.com', Tata Steel's unique attempt to trigger a debate on the role of values in Indian society, has now unveiled a new avatar complete with new sections and new means of accessing the site, including a WAP version and Tablet Application. Having launched the site last year, valueabled.com has now reached critical mass for us to be expanding our reach and appeal to a whole new set of visitors who would now be able to participate in this unique internet initiative. Most of these changes have been triggered through the website's fans and followers who, over the past few months, have been helping us expand this canvas to reach out to an even larger audience in the virtual world.

The website's design has been enhanced to give visitors the experience of an interactive world. It has a completely new interface where visitors can read, debate, poll and get to see what `Valueabled' is happening around them. It showcases, talks and guides the youth to Values that shape our lives today.

'Valueabled.com' will help visitors explore a virtual nation of values namely 'The Values Nation' where one can explore all things Valueabled, like 'Values Library' which helps visitors find all past posts and can post their additions, 'Valueseum' allows visitors to see Tata Steel and other Tata Group campaigns and, to add to the excitement, the website brings 'Values Arcade', a unique platform where visitors can play games centered around values. They can also sign up as 'Valuezens' and, by engaging in the various activities, earn 'Value Points' that can be redeemed for various rewards.

The WAP avatar of the website facilitates reach to millions of mobile phones that are increasingly becoming home to all online content. In addition, 'Valuesapp', a recently launched Tablet Application for all iPad visitors which was also demonstrated at the Jaipur Literature Festival 2012, can now be downloaded from the website. It sports a collection of all that is 'Valueabled' on myriad subjects, stories on values from around the world and also has a comprehensive almanac of campaigns from Tata Steel and other Tata Group companies.

India currently has millions of desktop and mobile internet users. Over the years, Tata Steel has been at the forefront through practice as well as through its numerous campaigns to reinforce the value system among the Indian masses at large. Towards this end, and with a view to reaching out to a wider audience, Tata Steel is now exploring new communication platforms in the Digital medium. The website, the Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as the online polls and discussion forums will serve as touch points for stakeholders to make themselves and their opinions heard on values and beliefs. All this is in line with the Tata ethos and commitment to social responsibility as the foundation of business nurtured over 144 years.
