Tata Steel felicitates two of its doctors for being conferred fellowship

~ Tata Steel felicitates its doctors on the occasion ~

Two doctors of Tata Main Hospital, Dr B S Rao and Dr Vinita Singh were felicitated by Mr Sanjiv Paul, Vice President (Corporate Services), Tata Steel, today for being conferred the Fellowships of the Royal Colleges in UK.

Dr B S Rao, MD MRCP, Head of the Department of Medicine has been conferred Fellowship of Royal College of Physicians (Glasgow). The doctor obtained his MBBS and MD (Medicine) from Patna University and obtained MRCP from Royal College of Physicians (Glasgow) in 1999. Having joined TMH in 1981, Dr BS Rao has contributed to the professional development of the department as well as academic progress by his hard work and pleasing nature. His professional dedication has endeared him to the community in general and patients in particular.

Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London awarded the fellowship FRCOG to Dr Vinita Singh MD MRCOG, Specialist at TMH. An alumnus from MGM Medical College, she obtained her MD (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) from Ranchi University. In 1997 she obtained the MRCOG from Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London which has now awarded the Fellowship.

TMH is proud of the distinction conferred on two of its faculty members this year in recognition of their professional contribution.
