Tata Steel organises JRD Tata Annual Inter School Quiz 2017
Tata Steel today organised the ‘JRD Tata Annual Inter School Quiz 2017’ at Michael John Auditorium, Jamshedpur. Mrs Archana Gupta, Academic Coordinator, Baug E Jamshed School, Jamshedpur graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Around 74 teams from 23 schools of Jamshedpur participated in the competition. The Quiz was conducted by Quiz Master Mr Lloyd Saldhana of Grey Caps India Limited, Bangalore.
Speaking on the occasion Mrs Gupta said ‘JRD Tata is best known for becoming the first licensed pilot in India. He was also the founder of many Tata Group Companies. He also received the Padma Vibhushan and Bharat Ratna. We are fortunate to live in the city which belongs to some great leaders of the society’
